The Complete Buyer’s Guide to Custom Bowling Shirts

League shirts look interchangeable on a quote and are not. Four questions separate a shirt a team keeps from one that lives in a car boot.

Did anyone ask about the throwing hand?

The gusset, the back hem and the pocket all move with it.

A supplier who did not ask built every shirt for a right-hander.

Is the contrast panel cut or printed?

A cut panel has a seam, piping and a shadow at the colour change.

A printed one has none of those, and the difference reads across a room.

Chain stitch or standard embroidery?

Chain stitch is one continuous loop and stands off the cloth.

Standard embroidery lies flat. Both are fine; only one is the retro script.

Is the cloth lot reserved?

Fabric colour drifts between dye lots. Thread numbers do not.

Ask what happens when a sub joins in week nine.

Then talk about colours

Enjoyable, and safely secondary to the four above.
